Can't thank Joe Trout enough for taking the time after hours to listen to my unique situation and discuss all the variables (running a jet at 9000' = little o2) + boat configuration, etc. and come to a intelligent recommendation that made sense. His recommendation was dead locknuts on!!! Boat runs strong and is faster, more responsive and a heck of a lot more fun! I have been meaning to call him to say thanks, but have been incredibly busy. To my surprise, he called me......I was in Mexico. That is Service! Old School Service!
This place reminds me of a big car dealership where selling unneeded parts for your boat helps boost there profit margin. They only want to do the work on your boat they think it needs rather than what the customer wants. Boater beware.
Went in there early 2014 asked about a blazer sport package they had advertised on the Internet. The response I was given was yes, the polished boat outside. It's always outside so if we're closed you can come look at it still. Got the the showroom and the man I delt with was very rude could tell he didn't want me being there, I assume because I'm young he didn't think I was going to buy a new boat. I asked him about the special pricing he said that was pricing for 2013 and he can't honor the 11,900 sticker. 2 years later the same advertisements still up. Bought an All weld from eberlin. And the 4 other new boats friends and family bought had intentions of trout and sons and chose other locations due to my feelings on be subject. Customer service doesn't need work... Gotta have something before you can work on it.

Alweld boats suggested I get in touch with these folks about a custom jet boat outfitted for a fly fishing guide. Sent numerous e-mails and finally called. Told to e-mail them what I wanted. Did that. Never heard back. E-mailed again asking why they never got back. Never heard back.
I want to note that I was VERY EAGER to buy a boat from these people, but they'd never talk to me about what I wanted. If they can't be bothered to respond to an e-mail, they don't deserve my money or yours.
Look forward to working with Joe and this team on other project boats.
Top notch crew. I was in a bad way on a good day with my boat. They got me up and running late on a Friday afternoon with a very fair price.
