Stopped into this museum on a rainy fall day when the owner wasn't really expecting many visitors. He was super gracious and gave us a personal tour. The museum tells the story of the Italians that came to this region and began to make wine. This location was an active winery at one point. There are lots of historical items and I learned a lot. I was especially fascinated to see how they were trying to use the concrete tanks coated in beeswax to ferment the wine. I highly recommend this stop. To top it all off, he gave us directions to some small local active wineries that were awesome as well.
